Favorite Florida Spots!

Happy Weekend!!
This blog post is a little different than other ones I've written because rather than showing the steps for a DIY or the details for a themed party, I'm going to be sharing my favorite spots in Bonita Springs, Florida! As you may already know, I live in Minnesota and continue to brave the harsh weather, winter after winter. After years of this (I won't say how many) my parents decided to make a change and buy a place in Bonita Springs, FL! They now spend every winter under the warm sun, giving me the perfect excuse to escape the cold weather once, or twice, every year! This post is all about my personal favorite spots in Bonita Springs, Fort Myers, and Naples, FL!
Now that I've visited more than a handful of times, I figured it was time for me to share the places I love. I hope you like my recommendations!
Feel free to comment below with your favorite spots!

Food/Drink
  • Dylan's Candy Bar - This is always my first stop when I arrive in Fort Myers and not just because it's at the airport! I am a sucker (pun intended) for cute candy stores so I love walking into this colorful shop at the Fort Myers Airport (RSW)!
  • Pollo Tropical - This is a great quick lunch spot! I get the TropiChop bowl!
  • Coconut Jacks - My fav restaurant in Bonita Springs. If you go here during spring break time, you may have to wait but it's worth it to sit outside! They have a huge patio area plus a few tables out on the docks. Last time I was there I saw a ton of jumping fish as well as a baby alligator in the water right next to our table!

Shopping
  • Best of Everything - You guys. I'm not kidding when I say I look forward to going here all year! This place is perfect if you want to try certain styles but don't want to spend a ton of money. They sell all types of accessories as well as cute towels, colorful kitchen utencils, and the perfect gift for anyone on your list! I stock up on pearl earrings (my fav) and always buy a few fun pieces like neon pink hoops!
  • Lilly Pulitzer - For anyone who loves bright colors, this store is a must visit! Being from MN, my first trip to an actual Lilly store was only a few years ago. I go to the store at the Coconut Point Mall every time I'm in Florida and I've never been disappointed! The displays are always perfectly set up and the employees are so friendly!
  • Miromar Outlets - There are a ton of great stores here along with some fun restaurants. It's the perfect place to go if you have a rainy day during your trip or are just in the mood for some shopping!

Views
  • Ritz Carlton Naples -  If you're not someone who can justify the price tag of one of these rooms (same), I recommend stopping by for dinner or to grab a bottle from the champagne vending machine (yes, you heard that right)! There's complimentary valet parking and the hotel is right on Vanderbilt beach so there's plenty of space to get the perfect sunset view (and Insty photo).
  • Tin City - This place is a bloggers dream! I actually discovered this area when I went on a sightseeing cruise - which I would also recommend - but I'm really including this because of all of the colorful walls! There are so many brightly colored photo backdrops that I went to Tin City twice on one trip! I suggest going early in the morning before the boaters arrive!

Thanks so much for following along with me and reading about my favorite Florida spots. I'd love to hear some of your favorite places to travel... Comment below!
Wishing you a sunny day!

XOXO, Karly
