DIY Easter Bunny Rice Krispies

Easter is just around the corner!
If you're looking for a very quick and last minute dessert to serve or bring to your hosts on Easter Sunday, you've come to the right spot! I came up with this idea last Saturday night while I was walking around Target (not keeping to my list with one item) and I made them on Sunday in just about no time!

Supplies:
  • Rice Krispie Treats - I used the ingredients here
  • White Foam Paper
  • Pink Foam Paper
  • Card Stock
  • Toothpicks
  • Glue
  • Tape
  • Pen
  • Scissors

Step One: Create two templates on the piece of card stock: one for the outer white ear and one for the inner pink part of the ear.

Step Two: Trace the outer ear template onto the white foam to make as many ears as you have Rice Krispie treats. Cut out and repeat this step with the pink foam paper.

Step Three: Glue the pink part of the ear (make sure you are putting the traced side down if you can still see pen marks) to the bottom center of the white foam! Once all of the ears are glued together, flip over and attach a toothpick to the back with tape.

Step Four: Now onto the yummy part! Follow the recipe here! When you get to the last step, rather than putting in a pan to cut later, you're going to roll the rice krispies into a ball about the size of a tennis ball. Let these sit for 10 minutes and then add the ears!

Now hop to it, Easter's only 3 days away! ;)

XOXO, Karly
