DIY Monogrammed Pumpkin Candy Jar

I have been so excited to share this DIY with you guys because it incorporates 3 of my favorite things: monograms, pumpkins, and candy!!!
I got this idea after making a monogrammed candy jar for myself this summer. As you know, Halloween has been on my brain since August so I immediately decided I needed to make an orange one with a stem and call it a pumpkin! Read on for the full tutorial! This makes a perfect hostess gift. :)

Supplies:
  • Clear Glass Candy Jar - I purchased this at Michaels
  • Monogrammed Print Out - Make your own monogram using the monogram maker on MarkandGraham.com
  • Paint Markers (orange and lime green) - These are Craft Smart brand from Michaels!
  • Scissors
  • Clear tape

Step One: Create your monogram using the Mark and Graham monogram maker. Copy into a word document, print off and cut out. Note: I cut out the top part of the middle letter to make room for the green stem!
Wash your candy jar and dry completely before taping the print out to the inside of your jar.

Step Two: Following the instructions on your paint marker, shake and test the point on a paper plate or napkin until the color comes out evenly.

Step Three: Trace the monogram using your orange paint marker. Let dry and fill in any areas that need additional color!
Once the orange is dry, free hand a pumpkin stem above the monogram using your green paint marker. Let dry.

Step Four: Remove and discard the tape and printable. Fill with candy and wrap with a bow - if it's for a gift - otherwise, ENJOY!!
