DIY Disney Welcome Sign

All Aboard!!
Did you guys see the Disney themed bachelorette party I helped plan?! Click here if you haven't already read the post! :)
My BFF is getting married in a couple of months so we threw her a celebration on a boat complete with Mickey ears and personalized water bottles!! I made this DIY Disney Welcome Sign for the boat and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! Read on for the full tutorial:

Supplies:
  • Large Foam Ring - I found this at Michaels but they also sell similar ones at Walmart
  • Foam Paper in Pink, Purple, and Gold - Purchased at Michaels
  • White Rope
  • Free Printable Template
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Marker or pen
  • Scissors

Step One: Cut 4 sections out of the pink foam approx. 3 inches wide. Attach the foam paper to the foam ring by using a dime sized dab of hot glue and pressing the foam paper to it. Wrap the paper around the ring and seal with hot glue. Cut off excess paper. Repeat this step with the other three pink sections.

Step Two: Print off the free printable template and cut out the S and the Mickey ears. Trace the S backwards onto the purple foam paper twice and cut out both letters. Repeat this step with the Mickey ears on the gold foam paper.

Step Three: Glue the foam paper onto the front of the foam ring. Attach the rope by adding a dot of hot glue to the center of each pink foam and adhering a section of rope.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out this DIY!!
I'm hoping to spend one more Saturday out on the lake before summer comes to an end!

XOXO, Karly
