DIY Easter Carrot Wine Bottle

Be the Sweetest [literally] guest this year and bring your hostess a bottle of wine wrapped in Reese's for Easter!
I was brainstorming ideas for an easy Easter DIY and when I came up with this one, I knew I had to try it out!
Follow the step by step tutorial below to learn how to make your own DIY Easter Carrot Wine Bottle!!

Supplies:
  • Bottle of Wine
  • Reese's Peanut Butter Cups - Make sure to buy the normal kind and not the Easter Eggs!
  • Lime Green Paper - You can use card stock or regular paper for this
  • Orange Paper - I recommend using card stock. If you don't have orange paper, you can use white. This will be to wrap around the bottle!
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Clear Tape
  • Scissors

Step One: Wrap the wine bottle with the orange paper. Make sure the bottom of the bottle is where the paper ends. Tape the paper to the actual bottle before you start wrapping. Secure with tape at the end.

Step Two: Hot glue the Reese's to the paper! Squeeze a decent sized dot of glue onto the back of the Reese's and attach to the paper. I recommend rotating the bottle while attaching and gluing each layer diagonally from the one under it - see picture below!

Step Three: Wrap the green paper around the top of the wine bottle. Tape to the bottle before wrapping and secure with tape after it's wrapped. You will need to cut the top of the paper to be straight across.
Make cuts approx. 3 inches from the top. If you want the green to look more natural, fan out the cuts from one other!

Wasn't That Easy?!
Carry your bottle of wine by the the top and hold the bottom so you don't squish the chocolate!!
Let the hostess know she can pull each chocolate off one by one or take the entire paper off to enjoy.

Happy Easter!!

XOXO, Karly
