DIY SUNglasses

Sun's Out Tongues Out!!
Only 2 days until the solar eclipse and I am driving 400 miles to see it!
I made SUNglasses to wear on the road trip because why not?
Anyone out there going to be on the path of totality?!
* Full disclosure - these will not protect your eyes from the sun so please refer to the Nasa website for approved eye protection: https://eclipse2017.nasa.gov/

Supplies:
Yellow Card Stock
Sunglasses - They sell these for $1 at Michaels or at the Dollar Store!
Scissors
Clear Tape
Pencil

Step One: Print off and cut out the FREE SUN TEMPLATE. There are two suns on the template so feel free to cut out both or use the first one for both sides of your sunglasses.

Step Two: Trace your cut out sun(s) onto the yellow card stock. Carefully cut these out, including the center!

Step Three: Roll up small pieces of your tape and stick to the front of your glasses. Repeat for both sides.
Once you've finished this step, they are truly SUNglasses.

I hope you enjoyed this DIY and are as excited as I am for the Solar Eclipse on Monday!!
Again, please do not look directly at the sun with these or you will cause permanent damage. Refer to the NASA website for approved eye protection!

XOXO, Karly
